Youtube and Screenr

One of the tools that I have used in my teaching has been videos from Youtube and Screenr. Usually I have used videos that have been uploaded by others to the internet. I am now starting to create my own now, which has been able to really target the skills that I am looking for.
Some of the benefits of creating my own youtube and screenr videos are:

  1. Students can watch the videos over.
  2. It acts as another motivational tool to gain student's attention.
  3. As an example for students to create their own videos. To teach others, the students need to have an understanding of the topic. This demonstrates higher level of thinking.
